Grammy Award-winning country star Travis Tritt will perform Friday, Jan. 24 and Saturday, Jan. 25 at the Walhalla Performing Arts Center, 101 E. North Broad St., Walhalla. A Grand Ole Opry member since 1993, the Georgia native is noted for his raucous brand of country music that also includes elements of southern rock and vintage soul. Showtime is 7:30 p.m. nightly. The Mill Billy 3 will perform on Wednesday, Jan. 22 at The Peddler, 149 W. Main St., Spartanburg. Composed of Upstate music veterans Freddie Vanderford, Matthew Knights and Brandon Turner, the trio consistently wows audiences with an impressive blend of roots music styles that range from traditional folk and Piedmont blues to rockabilly and classic country. Enuff Z’Nuff will make a stop at The Firmament, 5 Market Point Drive, Greenville on Thursday, Jan. 23. Best known for its hit singles “New Thing” and “Fly High Michelle,” which were staples on MTV in the late 1980s and early ’90s, the band continues to churn out a solid mix of melodic pop-rock and metal. Showtime is 8 p.m. with doors opening at 7:30 p.m. Also on the bill are Shotgun Saints and Arcane. Tickets are $15 in advance or $20 day of show. Stop Light Observations will take the stage on Saturday, Jan. 25 at The Radio Room, 110 Poinsett Highway, Greenville. Led by vocalist Will Blackburn, who grew up in Anderson, the band has made a splash in indie rock circles with an electronic-fueled sound that’s boldly contemporary while also drawing from old-school R&B and psychedelic pop influences. Western North Carolina-based singer-songwriter Dave Desmelik will join Upstate favorites Brandon Turner and David Ezell for an “in the round” performance on Sunday, Jan. 26 at Delaney’s Irish Pub, 117 W. Main St., Spartanburg. Desmelik is a rare talent who not only writes songs filled with powerful lyrics but also dazzles audiences with his immense guitar-picking.
