Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Kathy Mattea will take the stage at the Walhalla Performing Arts Center, 101 E. North Broad St., Walhalla on Sunday, Nov. 17. The intimate performance, billed as “An Evening with Kathy Mattea,” starts at 7 p.m. and tickets are $33-$38. Hailed by The Washington Post as “one of Nashville’s finest song interpreters,” Mattea, whose major hits include “Goin’ Gone,” “Eighteen Wheels and a Dozen Roses” and “Where’ve You Been,” mesmerizes audiences with a blissful mix of traditional folk and straight-from-the heart country. Vilai Harrington and the Hamptones will share a bill with the Georgia Dish Boys on Saturday, Nov. 16 at The Velo Fellow, 1 Augusta St. Suite 126, Greenville. Playing what the Greenville-based rock band is advertising as its final show of the year, Finding Freedom will share an intriguing bill with Greer singer-songwriter Angela Easterling on Saturday, Nov. 16 at Yee-Haw Brewing Company, 307 E. Presented by TPP Events, the show will start at 7 p.m. with Easterling’s engaging mix of folk, country and Americana and will be followed by what promises to be a rollicking set from the versatile Finding Freedom, whose influences run the gamut from Stevie Ray Vaughan to Needtobreathe. Country music veteran Lee Ann Womack will perform on Saturday, Nov. 16 at The Spinning Jenny, 107 Cannon St., Greer. Known for her magnficient voice and traditional country style, Womack is a 14-time Grammy nominee and 2002 Grammy Award winner whose most recent nominations, earlier this year, were in the Best American Roots Song and Best Americana Album categories.
