Key notes: Greenville Symphony to present ‘Holiday at Peace’; Spartanburg Community Band to play ‘Polar Expressions’

Internationally-renowned vocal duo, Diane Penning and Paul Langford, will perform during the Greenville Symphony Orchestra’s “Holiday at Peace” concert being presented Friday, Dec. 20-Sunday, Dec. 22 at the Peace Center in Greenville.

The Greenville Symphony Orchestra will present its annual “Holiday at Peace” pops concert this weekend at the Peace Center, 300 S. Main St., Greenville. Performances are at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 20 and Saturday, Dec. 21 and at 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 22.

Internationally-renowned vocal duo, Diane Penning and Paul Langford, will make their Greenville debut during the family-friendly concert, which will be conducted by Edvard Tchivzhel and promises to sweep audiences into the spirit of the season. The Spartanburg Community Band will present its 22nd annual holiday concert on Friday, Dec. 20 at the Chapman Cultural Center, 200 E. St. John St., Spartanburg. Titled “Polar Expressions,” the family-friendly concert starts at 7 p.m. and runs for one hour with no intermission.
